Our cottage is located in Muskoka on Little Whitefish Lake. It is a two bedroom plus a guest cottage with a double bed and two single beds. We have satellite TV and VCR plus some movies also. We do not have a telephone. A cell phone is needed. There is excellent reception. We have 150 feet on the lake.
We bought the property in 1965 when it was still Crown Land and we were fortunate to get a great location. It is located on a cul-de-sac road on a point of land with no bush behind us and cottages on both sides of the road. This keeps the bug level relatively minor. We are the third from the end. So there is basically no through traffic. It is very private and safe. I let my dog roam free without worrying about him being hit by a car. The lake is great for swimming. Very little boat traffic. There is a also a shallow sand based place where kids can play in the water. The water is terrific. Since it is a smaller lake on a chain of three and not too deep, it is at a very pleasant temperature.
BBQ/Microwave & all the amenities including a 12 ft. aluminum boat with a 9.9hp. And yes, great views.

This quaint little 2 bedroom plus bunkie (cottage sleeps 12 in total) cottage has a wonderful afternoon sun exposure and a great little sand beach. The landscape slopes gently down to the water's edge where the kids will enjoy playing in the shallow water with soft sandy bottom. The bottom here remains quite shallow and slopes very gradually. Sit back in the Muskoka chairs by the lake and enjoy the sunshine or tuck into the available shade where you will still have a good vantage point for watching the lake and enjoying the scenery. There are hiking trails very close to the cottage where you can take the kids on a nature hike and explore a bit of cottage country. The large deck is a great spot to enjoy dinning with the family or relaxing with a good book as you take in the quiet life. The bedrooms are simple yet comfortable. The living room and kitchen are attached to make meal time enjoyable for everyone. The Bunkie gets the kids out of your hair on rainy days.
This is a wonderful choice for those who are looking for a traditional cottage, with a private sand beach, clean swimming and on a quiet lake.

Our three cottages are nestled beneath giant pine trees along the shores of our own private lake. We have 91 acres of beautiful forest complete with trails and lots of nature and peaceful quiet. All cottages have two bedrooms plus sofa bed and sleep 6 comfortably. The cottages are fully equipped and we include a barbecue, firepit, fireplace or woodstove, screened in deck, and great views. Natural pine inside and out make the cottages cozy and quaint. Each cottage also comes with a canoe and there is a peddle boat to share. Guests can swim in our lake or across the road a five minute walk takes you to a small beach with a large, shallow, sand bottom bay on crown land in Lake Manitouwaba. In winter we offer snowshoes for a winter wonderland walk on our over 2km trails. We are just 2 1/2 hours from Toronto.
