About RE/MAX Parry Sound-Muskoka Realty Ltd.
In February 1980, Leo Sallinen purchased the 5th RE/MAX franchise in Canada from long time friend, Frank Polzler after seeing how the desk fee concept worked during a vacation in Florida. At this time, there were only 35 RE/MAX agents in all of eastern Canada.
30 years later, RE/MAX Parry Sound Muskoka Realty is the number one real estate office in the region. After Leo retired in 1992, his son, John Sallinen took control of the company and helped to build it into what it is today. It has located at 47 James Street for over 20 years and is a fixture on town's main street.
